About the Role:

Dr. Squatch is seeking a People & Culture/HR Analyst to join the growing People & Culture department. The P&C Analyst will play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting our Human Resources data in an effort to support strategic decision-making across the company. In addition to being an important partner within the P&C department, this role will engage with and support stakeholders and leaders to identify areas for improvement as relates to HR and company initiatives.

This role will report to Engagement & People Analytics Partner.

This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits based out of Squatch HQ in Marina del Rey, CA.

The anticipated base compensation for this role will be $85,000 to $100,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Gather and analyze data from various HR systems, surveys, and sources.
  • Identify trends and patterns in data related to HR functions and initiatives.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Collaborate with P&C leadership to develop and implement and track adoption/engagement of HR programs and policies.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives. 
  • Conduct audits of the Company’s people data as needed.
  • Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization.
  • Ad-hoc data analysis as needed
  • Maintain integrity and confidentiality of company’s people data.
  • Other tasks assigned by supervisor and/or leadership as required.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in HR analytics or a related role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Ability to make data digestible through coding and data visualization
  • Proficient in data visualization tools such as Looker strongly preferred
  • Proficient in data analysis tools
  • Proficient in one or more human resource information systems with a preference for experience in ADP and/or UKG.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency
  • Someone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome
  • Someone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor
