Job Description

About us

We’re Fluxon, a product development team founded by ex-Googlers and startup founders. We offer full-cycle software development from ideation and design to build and go-to-market. We partner with visionary companies, ranging from fast-growing startups to tech leaders like Google and Stripe, to turn bold ideas into products with the power to transform the world.

About the role

In this role, you’ll focus on building out what Growth & Development looks like at Fluxon. We want every Fluxonian’s time at Fluxon to be a catalyst for their careers, and you’ll lead our efforts to ensure that each member of our team has opportunities for meaningful growth.

You’ll be responsible for creating a strategy and roadmap to tackle questions like:

  • How can we strengthen our culture of continuous feedback?
  • How do we create opportunities for every individual to continue to grow and develop?
  • How can we equip and empower our people managers with what they need to lead and support their teams?

Your roadmap might include:

  • Talking to Fluxonians across the company to understand where our greatest opportunities are
  • Iterating on our biannual career development & performance review process
  • Creating systems to enable more frequent feedback
  • Building new resources to support first-time people managers
  • …and any other ideas you want to experiment with :)

This is an individual contributor role that reports to our Global People Operations Lead. Our HQ is in San Francisco, but this position can be remote from anywhere in North America.

Qualifications

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Have strategic, end-to-end program management experience, and can tell us about the impact of the programs you've worked on
  • Have at least 3+ years of experience in People Operations, HR or another people-centric field
  • Are passionate about problem-solving - No matter how big or small the task, you’re motivated to try out different ideas and find the right solution
  • Excel at thoughtful execution - You ask questions, do research, and take the time to build a strong foundation before diving into the tactical steps
  • Are experience oriented - You recognize that details are important, and prioritize the details that make the greatest impact on the experience of our team and our clients

What we offer

Our salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000, and we consider your skills and experience and what similar roles pay at companies similar to us when determining your offer.

In addition, we provide:

  • Remote-first culture
  • Flexible time off policy
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage
  • Profit sharing program
  • 401(k) matching
  • Paid parental leave
  • Annual education and fitness allowances
