About the Role
Particle Health is looking for a People Operations Manager who is excited about developing and implementing thoughtful, inclusive, and effective people processes & programs from the ground up in support of our team and our incredibly meaningful mission.
As an early hire on the people team, you will own the day to day operations of onboarding, performance, and L&D and be a key team member in building and cultivating a culture of high performance, equity, inclusion, and mutual value creation at Particle.Â
We are a company of ~45 growing to 60 this year, some team members working in our NY office twice a week and others working remotely across the US. Understanding how to support and engage hybrid and remote teams is a must!
This role will report to the Vice President of People.
Location: Remote or NY
As the People Operations Manager, you will:
- Grow our employee listening and engagement offering in a modern and dynamic way - leverage all forms of data collection across the employee journey (including engagement surveys, stay interviews, exit surveys, employee focus groups, pod work).Â
- Capture appropriate metrics/data, draw insights from analytics to help us identify development opportunities and unmet people related needs
- Ensure that the appropriate connections are made with performance development and overall staff satisfaction
- Culture and DEI. This role will partner across the organization to shape our culture for the future, developing an understanding of the key cultural touchstones and employee experiences. Working in partnership with our diversity, equity, and inclusion advisory team to ensure our employee experience aligns with our desired future culture
- Capture appropriate metrics/data, draw insights from analytics to help us identify development opportunities and unmet people related needs
- Facilitate new hire onboarding, seasonal virtual team engagement activities, and other training under the talent development umbrella.
- Provide end-to-end management of our development programs, which include semi-annual performance reviews, annual compensation cycles, and succession planning activities. Provide guidance and training to managers in ways that drive individual and team performance while maintaining equity across the organization.Â
- Work across the org to ensure we are following and adhering to state and federal employment requirements. Own the implementation and communication pieces for legislation changes and establish mechanisms to monitor progress over time.Â
- Lead strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Concept, test, and launch talent programs in support of larger business and culture goals. Ensure quality of solutions meets key measurements of success.

Desired Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant HRBP experience, with two years in a tech startup, supporting product and engineering functions is a plus.
- Experience in all facets of talent management - performance, learning and development, compensation, employment relations, and compliance
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; articulate and persuasive communicator and presenter
- Entrepreneurial, self-sufficient, and self-driven - willing to roll up sleeves and get it done.
- Strong focus on learning and understanding the goals and strategies of our business units and the connection to our people.
- Proven track record of achieving goals/objectives
- Comfort and confidence presenting to small to large groups
- Ability to navigate data and people to find solutions
- Proven track record of providing HR consultation to senior leadership on strategic initiatives, compensation, and training.

Cash Compensation Range: $100,000 - $120,000
