Job Description

We are looking for a Performance Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:

• Lead performance engineering team taking end-to-end accountability of system performance and scalability supporting day-to-day operations.
• Own, maintain, and develop performance engineering and testing infrastructure including benchmarks, and test frameworks.
• Promote performance standards, and best practices and provide guidance to software engineers.
• Design and implement solutions to evaluate and improve the performance and scalability of the ORMB application.
• Use monitoring tools to help diagnose, improve, and resolve performance issues.
• Perform performance analysis and optimization of ORMB and related applications in the ecosystem – online portals, and reporting systems.
• Translate business goals, requirements, and SLAs to effectively design and drive performance engineering solutions.
• Troubleshoot and provide suggestions to increase the load and performance of applications.
• Work with architects, engineering teams, and DBAs to define benchmarks to track and characterize performance for different use cases.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience doing performance engineering for Java, Hibernate, Oracle, and Linux based applications, and web technologies.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL, HQL, XML, Oracle Database, OEM, Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF), JavaScript, RESTful API, Web Services, SOAP, ORMB, WebLogic, and Linux.
• Experience in using monitoring and performance testing tools - Grafana, DynaTrace, Splunk, JVisualVM, JMC, JMeter, HP Load Runner
• Deep technical knowledge of ORMB application (version 5 and above), data model
• Experience in identifying performance bottlenecks by analyzing AWR reports and fine-tuning complex queries.
• Experience with performance tuning ORMB/CC&B applications taking end-to-end accountability of benchmarking components, analyzing bottlenecks, and fine-tuning to meet performance SLAs.
• Experience with fine-tuning ORMB batches, interfaces, algorithms, UIs, and zones analyzing both custom and base product components.
• Experience in infrastructure management, estimations, and server sizing
• Problem-solving ability to drill down into details of each component to uncover areas for improvement.
