Job Description
St. Peters Health Partners is seeking to recruit a full-time Physician Assistant to join the St. Peters Medical Oncology/Hematology team located in Albany and Troy, NY. The Physician Assistant will treat patients in both an inpatient and outpatient setting and will work closely with an interdisciplinary team including a collaborating Hematologist Oncologist.
Our team of medical oncologists is dedicated to determining the most effective chemotherapy regimens, including drug selection, dosage, and administration schedules. They work collaboratively with surgeons and radiation oncologists to integrate chemotherapy with radiation therapy and other treatment modalities, aiming for the best possible patient outcomes. Our providers manage the overall care of our patients, offering expertise in pain management, treatment of chemotherapy side effects, and psychological care. In partnership with Samaritan Hospital, our practice also provides free cancer screenings, a breast navigation program, participation in clinical trials, cancer support groups, and a cancer registry program.
Position Overview:
- Full-time role
- Inpatient/Outpatient: Primarily inpatient (90%) with some outpatient clinic work (10%)
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Experience preferred, new grads are encouraged to apply
- Licensure: Current New York State licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with a team of experienced physicians and healthcare providers
Recruitment Package:
- Competitive salary with incentives: $134,383 - $158,572

The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.
