Flagstaff Surgical Associates is looking for a APP to join our thriving surgical specialty practice in Urology.

FSA offers Urological, General Surgery/Trauma and Ear, Nose & Throat (including allergy & audiology) care. Overview

Our Urology APPs have a variety of responsibilities and duties that help support the urological needs of our patients and the community. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Patient care: Provide optimal care for a variety of disorders, including; recurrent urinary tract infections, urinary incontinence, prostatitis, interstitial cystitis, enlarged prostate, kidney stones, erectile dysfunction, male and female infertility, and cancers of the urinary tract such as prostate cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer and testicular cancer
• Diagnostic testing: Ordering and interpreting tests such as urine, blood, imaging, and X-rays
• Treatment/Treatment Plans: Conduct physical exams, formulate differential diagnoses, prescribe medications and administer injections, develop plans of care and educate patients about treatment options
• Support: Consult with physicians and staff during patient evaluations to diagnose urologic conditions, treatment of non-surgical conditions and general urologic procedures. For more complicated cases, refer patients to physicians
• Continuity of care: Monitor/assess post operative care, therapies, and overall patient well being
• Preventative care: Advising patients on preventative care and optimal health practices
