Excellent opportunity for a dynamic Physician Assistant to join our team of highly trained Orthopedic Surgeons. We provide care to a varied group of patients with general orthopedic surgical needs. Our PA will see patients in the orthopedic surgery clinic round on patients in the hospital and provide surgical first-assist in the OR. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, well-organized, well-prepared, a critical-thinker, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within a team.

Essential Functions and Requirements:

- Board Certification as a Physician Assistant

- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the state of AZ

- Prescribing privileges including DEA license for controlled substance

- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS

- Prefer experience but New Grads with Orthopedic background/clinical rotations will be considered

Practice Details:

- Full-Time | Monday - Friday

- Inpatient/Outpatient - High volume practice

- Provide first-assist as needed

- Will have your own patient panel

- Call: Practice Call Rotation, and potential for hospital call up to 1 to 2 weekends per month
