Job Description
This physician opportunity will join an established and collaborative group of physicians, midwives, and nurse practitioners. Our practice focuses on providing personalized care with an emphasis on up-to-date, evidence-based medicine. A compassionate approach to patient care is a hallmark of our physicians and our practice. We focus on creating a collegial, team-oriented, supportive environment for our physicians. The practice maintains a focus on an academic approach to medicine and we hold regular clinical meetings, pre-op conferences, Journal Clubs, and QA/QI meetings.
The practice structure and call schedule provides for optimal work-life balance and personal and professional fulfillment. Our experienced midwife team takes first call for routine deliveries and triage and works in direct collaboration with our physicians. Overnight and weekend call can be taken from home, or, when needed in house, we have a dedicated, private and comfortable on-call suite.
The practice is very strong gynecologically and our physicians have been leaders in minimally invasive and robotic surgery in the community. Established physician office schedules are comprised of 70-80% Gyn and all our surgeons have dedicated block time for robotic and major cases at the hospital. The practice performs minor procedures in our in-office surgical suite. We provide routine and high risk obstetric care. Access to Level III NICUs, full-spectrum medical/specialist/subspecialist care, daVinci robot access, and in-house 24 hour anesthesia services.
