Physician - Orthopedic Surgeon - Spalding/Griffin, GA

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking a board eligible or board certified, Orthopedic Surgeon to join our Orthopedic practice in Griffin, Ga at Wellstar Spalding Hospital. Physician will be responsible for seeing all types of Orthopedic patients including sports medicine, total joint, general orthopedics and some healthy pediatrics. General orthopedic call is required. The group is currently comprised of one physician and one advanced practice provider.

Wellstar Spalding Hospital is located approximately an hour south of Atlanta and is located in the charming small town of Griffin, GA. Griffin offers a diverse heritage and history, resturant options, shopping, various recreational and entertainment opportunities, good schools and is only about 30 minutes from Atlanta Motor Speedway. Wellstar Spalding Hospital is a 160 bed facility and provides comprehensive, personalized care in a comfortable, friendly setting. Their aware-winning EMS, Primary Stroke Center, surgical services and fast track minor care has patients in the best of hands when they need it most.

Fellowship training preferred in an Orthopedic sub-specialty such as Adult Reconstruction or Sports Medicine and willing to practice general orthopedics as well as do total joints. Must be willing to take general orthopedic call and see some healthy pediatric patients, take care of fractures etc.
