* Practice Detail: We are seeking a psychiatrist to join our elite team.
* EMR System: Sunrise Clinical Manager which is an Allscripts platform. We also have Athena charting for routine outpatients.
* Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Stress Center

Responsibilities

Ascension St. Vincent is seeking a psychiatrist-child and adolescent for the Stress Center. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Vincent to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights:

* Must be comfortable with life span care -- primarily will see child and adolescent population on inpatient service and will have role supervising/supporting care delivery across levels of care
* Partial hospital/intensive outpatient/school based/consult & liaison services for youth.

* Experienced /tenured team
* As member of medical staff part of team with MDs and NPs serving
inpatient, partial hospital, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services across the life span
* Opportunities to participate in teaching as we have medical students from Marion University.
* Center has been here since 1982 providing a full spectrum of behavioral services in the community

Responsibilities:

* Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.
* Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
* Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

* Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
* Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education:

* Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
