WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a DIRECTOR, NIKE.PARTNERS PROCESS MANAGEMENT to drive portfolio and program management excellence to actively lead Nike's Partner go to Consumer (PGTC) and Nike.net portfolio of projects.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Lead and mentor a team of program managers who are responsible for continuous program planning processes and program management, dependency and risk management, tracking project/portfolio progress, and escalation of program/portfolio issues
- Develop and implement a program planning framework in support of an agile product model and which leads to the realization of the agile principle of frequent value drops
- Facilitate program/portfolio level intake and prioritization to ensure work is prioritized and defined to meet strategic objectives
- Coordinate, maintain, and communicate integrated product, program, and portfolio-level roadmaps and drive alignment, collaboration, and execution
- Understand and articulate business value in portfolio and program management, and supervise return on investment and benefits realization
- Effectively drive the understanding of value delivery, sophisticated program and project dependencies, and constraints within the portfolio by positive relationship with functions and program leaders; lead and communicate portfolio impacts as interdependencies change
- Demonstrate an ability to influence project and portfolio team members; communicate highly relevant information to both executive leaders and individual contributors in an effective manner
- Prepare and analyze key program/portfolio data, trending, and reporting information to drive portfolio insights and decision making in the critical areas of scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and benefits realization
- Act as a critical contact for sophisticated problems; recommend and implement corrective action to improve program/portfolio performance
- Provide consulting to program leaders to drive understanding and adoption of program/portfolio management processes
Working alongside business and technology leaders, this role establishes and implements outstanding portfolio delivery practices, standards, tools, and processes, enabling governance and access to deliver solutions that optimize the business and increase value for Nike. This role reports to the Senior Director of Nike.Partners Excellence and is an integral member of the PGTC PMO team.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience and training
- Master's degree in related field preferred roles; project management certification preferred (PMP)
- 10+ years of professional experience within Business, IT, or a related field
- At least 6 years of portfolio, program management and/or project management leadership roles
- Leadership skills to strengthen multiple project teams to successful outcomes, while balancing internal & external partner expectations
- Ability to connect delivery to business impacts in support of prioritizing work to the highest value & strategizing delivery options (thought leadership)
- Comfortable speaking with multiple partners at varying levels
- Experience in using qualitative and quantitative data to advise recommendations
