RESPONSIBILITIES:

If you're passionate about data analytics and digital transformation, then we have a great career opportunity for you! The Residential Pricing department is seeking a high-energy and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Pricing Data Analytics Manager.

The Pricing Data Analytics Manager will own the pricing analytics roadmap which delivers analytics, automation, and reporting projects. A successful candidate will proactively identify, design, implement, and lead improved uses of data and tools to enhance processes and empower the pricing team. Equally important, this role will be responsible for driving strategic business decisions through data analysis and modeling. This position will lead and support a Senior Data Analyst focused on price forecasting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Utilizes analytical techniques and tools to combine data from multiple sources to evaluate the success of pricing programs and identify revenue enhancement and margin improvement opportunities
  • Gathers business intelligence from internal and external sources to evaluate changing market trends and strategies
  • Effectively communicates and translates data insights into recommendations for the leadership team
  • Leads the development of new analytics, automation, and reporting projects and the improvement of existing approaches to enhance decision making, deliver on strategic pricing priorities and increase team productivity
  • Manages internal and external IT partners to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Communicates process and system changes to the team by translating complex functionality into the business-relevant language
  • Maintains existing pricing dashboards and tools to ensure data accuracy and optimization
  • Leads and supports the Senior Data Analyst in the development of monthly price and price provision rate forecasts


KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven Analytics Skills - Ability to sift through large amounts of data, perform statistical analysis, identify critical information, think strategically, then develop actionable solutions
  • Problem Solving - Critical thinker with the ability to quickly grasp business needs and objectives
  • Attention to Detail - Ability to complete data requests accurately and thoroughly
  • Leadership - Lead, support, and coach a Senior Data Analyst to develop accurate monthly price forecasts
  • Delivers Results - Delivers projects on time and on-budget
  • Aids Understanding - Ability to communicate technical data understandably to non-technical audiences
  • Reporting - Experience with monthly reporting metrics, data collection, manipulation, and analysis
  • Communication - Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills. Comfortable presenting to executive-level leadership.
  • Builds Relationships - Proven capability to work effectively with all levels of the organization as well as external customers
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills


OPTIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • FP&A or P&L forecasting experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI, Salesforce, Tableau, or SAP
  • Working knowledge of analytics tools such as Alteryx, Python, SQL, or SAS


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • 4-7 years experience working in a complex business environment with a focus on financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or data analysis
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Business, Business Analytics, Statistics, or Data Science
  • BA/BS degree w/4-7+ years experience
  • MA/MS/MBA degree w/2-5+ years experience
