Job Description

The Division of General Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital/Northwell Health is seeking a board-certified Internal Medicine physician to join our team as a Clinician Educator. Candidates with prior experience in direct ambulatory teaching, curriculum development, and medical education scholarship are strongly preferred, as this role offers opportunities for academic advancement and leadership within the Internal Medicine Residency

Program at Lenox Hill.
This position includes:
  • Precepting residents in our Upper East Side Primary Care Clinic
  • Direct patient care in a Lenox Hill Primary Care practice
  • Education, evaluation, and mentorship of Internal Medicine residents
  • Contribution to the academic outputs of the Division of General Internal Medicine
The Division of General Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital is a growing and dynamic group of faculty that focuses on high quality medical education, primary care delivery, and faculty development with Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. DGIM provides ambulatory education to our 78 Internal Medicine residents at Lenox Hill Hospital. Our IM Residency includes Primary Care and Categorical Programs as well as an LGBTQ+/HIV Care Track. The Division of General Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill has clinical areas of focus including LGBTQ+/TGNB Care, Shelter Medicine, Women’s Health/Menopause Care, and Perioperative Medicine. Faculty appointments are through the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.
