We are looking for a Principal Enterprise Architect, reporting to the Director – Enterprise Architecture, to work with the IT team, product teams, as well as senior executives to define the target state architecture for all Risk and Compliance Applications.  Convera is hiring a skilled architect that will span a body of business intent that allows Convera to manage risk and remain compliant in a diverse international foreign exchange payment processing landscape.  You will use your proven track record of designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, possess deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture and Salesforce to AWS Cloud integrations.  As a Sales and marketing Domain Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping our Salesforce ecosystem to meet business needs, optimize processes and drive innovation.

You will be responsible for:

• Perform hands-on architecture and design for solutions used primarily to enable to success of Convera’s Salesforce platform, including understanding integrations with key supporting systems such as Zoom contact center, Ownbackup, Gong, GainSight and Linked-in Sales Navigator
• Provide direction to integration efforts across a diverse portfolio of applications and technology platforms with proven ability to integrate Salesforce with AWS Data Platforms and Solutions
• Ability to decouple highly coupled capabilities in Salesforce and ability to ensure Sales and Marketing meets the functional and non-functional requirements of it stakeholders
• Understand current state solutions, identify improvements, options and tradeoffs, define target state solution and propose investment roadmaps
• Lead the transformation of legacy Sales and Marketing Platform to Target state Sales and Marketing Platform ensure enterprise domain capabilities align to the champion system for those capabilities
• Participate in integrated triage, solutioning and delivery of high value work for the domain
• Clearly articulate, document and sell architectural targets and reusable patterns, implemented for the domain across product and engineering stakeholders
• Build and maintain relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects and other stakeholders to become a trusted advisor
• Architect highly available, resilient solutions deployed across Convera’s technology ecosystem spanning public cloud infrastructure and SaaS integrators
• Identify and advise product and engineering teams on emerging technology solutions in the Sales and Marketing domains to reduce costs, increase efficiencies, provide more value, capabilities, reduce risks and increase security.
• Collaborate with project teams to lead solution design, project proposals, proof-of-concepts and delivery of the solution implementation, including integration with both internal and external applications
• Communicate best practices by giving presentations, working with project teams and authoring content aimed at educating others about standards, strategies and otherwise defined best practices
• Play a lead role in shaping and participating in Convera’s Architecture Review Board committees

You should apply if you have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Governance, Information Security or related field
• 10+ years of architecting and delivering solutions across sales and marketing architecture domains on Salesforce (technology, application, information and infrastructure)
• 5+ years of experience architecting and integrating with AWS cloud-native applications including development of batch and near real time integrations with systems and data analytics platform
• Working knowledge of financial industry related architecture and data management practices
• Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• 5 years of hands-on enterprise architecture framework experience (TOGAF, Zachman models, etc.)
• Salesforce Architecture certification
• Experience evaluating and/or architecting enterprise cross-functional systems to support core business functions such as Identity Access Management, Notification Services, Customer/Entity Management, Logging and Monitoring
• Experience in interacting with senior leadership
• Have an intellectual curiosity and interest to maintain and acquire new business, technology, and architecture skills
