Principal Product Engineer(DVT_Simulation)

Our team is seeking a dynamic and professional product engineer (PE), who enjoys multi-tasking in a fast paced, technical, and friendly environment. We will be passionate about product and deployment scalability of the Siemens Functional Verification. Working closely with product development teams, marketing managers, application engineers and customers. Some domestic and international travel will be required.

Define product features and methodologies:

Connect these challenges with Siemens' current and emerging technical solutions. We will also be guiding customers on these solutions and drive product rollout to evolve the next generation of products.

Support marketing activities:

Collaborating with marketing teams to perform market research, product positioning and crafting supporting presentation materials. You will present and demonstrate Functional Verification of Siemens in conferences, seminars, and events.

Work with customers:

Working with multiple customers to understand their challenges and flows. Our ability to maintain customer relationships will help make you effective in this role. Customer facing activities include product demonstrations, training, evaluations, and driven benchmarking. The PE plays an active role in developing solutions to tackle customer problems based on their insight into the customer's environment.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Leading technical relationships with Siemens' existing customer base.
• Developing a network of technical relationships at a peer-to-peer level with both our customers and the product engineering teams.
• Delivering technical presentations, demonstrations, and training to a range of audiences including users, managers, and decision-makers.
• Influencing product direction by assembling customer requirements and defining the use models which drive the product development and marketing teams
• Participating in new feature specification, development, and validation process to ensure the product will meet customer requirements.
• Teammate with capability to work across geographies in a multi-functional environment.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in EE (Electrical Engineering)/CS(Computer Science) or related field required
• More than 5+ validated experiences in Functional Verification domain
• Strong hold on VHDL/Verilog and SystemVerilog and UVM knowledge
• Simulation/Verification using directed tests, constraint random testing, assertions and coverage driven verification methods
• RTL and Gate Level (GLS) verification and debug
• Low power verification techniques using UPF
• Solid understanding of UVM and experience of using one of these methodologies in at least one sophisticated project
• Protocol Knowledge such as AMBA, JEDEC, PCIe would be added advantage
• Prior experience with EDA tools such as Questa Simulator, Synopsys VCS, Verdi or Cadence Xcelium/IES
• Interpersonal and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exposure to sales and applications environment is a plus
• Formal verification, CDC/RDC/Lint is desirable
