Customer Experience

The Customer Experience organization provides a common interface to customers including account and relationship management, acting as the voice of the customer internally and creating demand across our business groups. While bringing deep understanding of local markets for our customer, the CX organization ensures strong alignment between sales and delivery teams.

The team you will be a part of

You will be part of customer-facing solution architecture team focusing on pre-sales engineering efforts.

What you will learn and contribute to

As part of our team, you will:

  • Be responsible for sales engineering functions in the enterprise account team.
  • Support one or more account directors on winning new strategic DC Switching & Automation, IP/MPLS Networking, Cloud and SDN initiatives, and growing Nokia's IP Product portfolio into existing business.
  • Partner with the Enterprise Sales team to drive orders by providing innovative solutions for large enterprise customers. You will focus on obtaining customer requirements and translating them into customer-specific solution designs and company offers.
  • Lead prioritization of customer solutions and technical requirements and champion resolution and product gaps internally (towards product groups).
  • You will position Nokia as a thought leader on key technological developments.
  • Lead solution definitions, both internally and externally, customer-facing.
  • Be responsible for technical relationships with our customers while being an integral part of the account team.

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • At least 15 years of experience in solution architecture and/or technical sales
  • Demonstrated expertise in DC Switching, NextGen core and edge IP Routing/MPLS technologies:
  • Proven experience with cloud computing and data center technologies:

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Data center network design (multi-tier zones, server load balancing, VXLAN, etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SDN and NFV concepts and technologies
  • Experience with content delivery / caching technologies a plus
  • CCIE, JNCIE or equivalent vendor certification is a plus
    • SDWAN
    • VMWare (NSX and VMWare networking in general)
    • Containers and Kubernetes
    • Openstack & KVM or Hyper-V
    • AWS, Azure or other public clouds
    • Arista, Juniper or Cisco switching and automation platforms
    • DC switching & Platform Automation (Ansible, Puppet, Python)
    • IPv4 and IPv6, BGP, OSPF, MPLS - RSVP, LDP, Segment Routing.
    • Metro Ethernet & MPLS services (IPVPNs, L2/L3 Pseudowires)
    • Multicast - PIM, IGMP, etc.
    • Branch CPE networking
