Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This Procurement Coordinator, NH-1101-03 position is located in the Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEW&S) located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One-year probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level Foundational in the Acquisition Career Contracting Field within 36 months of entrance on duty.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
- This position requires submission of Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
- Position is Non-Critical Sensitive requiring a Secret security clearance or the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: (1) Monitoring contract activities to verify clauses or terms are in compliance with contractual agreement, (2) Performing as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to monitor the cost allocation or performance of contract agreements, and (3) Recommending procurement initiatives based on budget limitations and terms of negotiations of a contract.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02.
