As part of EverFi's Product Design Team, the Product Designer helps conceptualize and design engaging, interactive learning experiences for our users. This role partners with the entire cross-functional team (Product Managers, User Experience (UX) Designers, Product Design Directors, and Developers) through the project’s discovery phase, wireframe execution, development, and iteration efforts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure design and asset approach supports learning objectives
• Be an advocate for our users when designing engaging and accessible layouts 
• Ability to select appropriate and inclusive stock imagery that best highlights a wide variety of concepts
• Able to utilize Illustrator to modify and adapt existing resources, but also be prepared to make new and exciting illustrations and characters
• Collaborate with UX designers in the creation of functional and interactive prototypes
• Utilize Figma to generate new course layouts
• Work with and support Product Design Directors in the creation of visual concepts for upcoming products
• Collaborate with Design Leads on course design direction
• Support project team leads throughout the course build process
• Have an eye for detail and preserving a design’s integrity as outlined by the style guide
• Other job-related duties as assigned

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 years of design experience at an agency or in-house
• Expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Proficiency in prototyping tools (Figma preferred)
• Strong collaboration skills; ability to balance team & individual in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
• Experience designing for interactive platforms preferred
• User experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design experience
