Product Manager, Cloud Monitoring and Monarch

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  
• 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or Machine Learning (AI or ML).
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  
• 8 years of experience in a Product Management, Engineering, or Technology Strategy role.
• Experience with cloud, SaaS, databases, APIs, and production environments, including SRE, developer operations, or similar.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$211,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Develop and own parts of the product idea, strategy, roadmap, success criteria and execution for Monarch and Cloud Monitoring features focusing on addressing growth and reliability.
• Define product requirements and detailed specifications for product features.
• Meet regularly with Google Services teams to understand their needs and translate them into product specifications.
• Manage trade-offs between investment, schedule, and customer benefit, and drive prioritization of feature development accordingly.
  
• Negotiate terms and consumption practices of Monarch inside Google, to assure a well managed growth and efficiency, and partner with product managers from other parts of Google Cloud on planning across products.
