Job Description

About Dubsado
At Dubsado, our mission is to empower entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small businesses by providing ever-evolving software and putting the customer first in all we do. You'll be joining a self-funded company that values world-class customer service and education as much as we value designing and developing quality software.
Dubsado is a business management platform with a suite of tools designed to help business owners manage their projects and clients all in one place. From contracts and invoicing to scheduling and automated workflows, Dubsado is on a mission to be the go-to all-in-one solution for managing small businesses in creative industries and beyond.
About the role
The growing product team at Dubsado is small but mighty. As our next Product Manager, you'll work closely with a cross-functional team of developers and product designers to bring new features and updates to life. Your work will have a direct impact on improving the lives and productivity of small business owners in a wide variety of industries all over the globe.
We're looking for a Product Manager to join our Scheduling & Calendar team. The Dubsado scheduler helps business owners eliminate the back-and-forth with their clients so they can focus on building relationships and delivering their best work. Our built-in calendar integrates with users' external calendar accounts so that they can stay on top of their availability and commitments without leaving the platform.
This is an exciting time to join the Scheduling & Calendar team, as we work on building a stronger foundation for our scheduling tool. You'll play an integral role in building on this new foundation and delivering high-value features to our users, such as multi-user scheduling and SMS reminders. This is a great opportunity for a driven and focused Product Manager who is skilled at breaking down large projects into manageable pieces and seeing them through.
You are...
A true team player. You're a self-starter, you leave your ego at the door, you enjoy helping wherever it is needed, and you truly believe in improving the lives of our business owners. We're all incredibly motivated and supportive-we regularly give shoutouts to people for big and small accomplishments. When you work here, both you and your work will be valued.
Passionate about helping business owners. At the end of the day, we are here to serve small business owners and entrepreneurs. When we succeed, they thrive. If we fail our customers, we fail their businesses, which could have an impact on their ability to support themselves and their families. You can build an empathetic connection with our users, ensure their needs and goals are met, and drive your team to do the same.
Scrappy and resourceful. As a self-funded company, we deeply value making the most of the resources we have. You are excited to work with our most abundant resource-user feedback-and aren't afraid to push ahead without access to detailed, quantitative data.
A great listener. You listen to all perspectives with empathy and curiosity. You value learning over knowing. Your team will look to you for direction, so you also know when it's time to make an informed decision and move on.
Flexible, patient, and willing to learn. Our team is growing quickly and we implement new approaches regularly. You don't work in a silo-you value collaboration, adapt quickly, and ask for feedback at every step of the way.
Responsibilities
• Own the Scheduling & Calendar product roadmap and set priorities that align with the user needs, mission, and core values of the product area.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Product on shaping the long-term vision and direction for your product area, bringing forward your prioritization strategy and insights on new opportunities.
• Become an expert on our users (small business owners) by proactively seeking opportunities to learn more about their needs and challenges, both in the U.S. and abroad.
• Drive alignment on product vision and execution strategy within your team and across the organization through clear communication and documentation.
• Collaborate with your team's Product Designer on ideation, user research, and prototype testing activities by asking the right questions, exploring the best solutions, and creating space for the Designer to do their best work.
• Promote efficient and effective communication and processes within your cross-functional team.
• Gather information and feedback from our Customer Success, Education, Marketing, and Partnerships teams to inform product decisions.
• Organize beta tests and be a first point of contact for participants. Work with your team's Product Owner to ensure issues and potential changes are investigated in a timely manner.
• Present new features and updates at company-wide demos.
• Oversee the product development cycle from initial planning to release and gather post-release user feedback.
Qualifications
• 1+ years experience as a Product Manager in SaaS
• Excellent written and verbal communication, team management, and presentation skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Experience working in a fast-paced setting with shifting priorities and timelines
Bonus points for...
• First-hand experience as a freelancer or small business owner
• Experience working on products that are supported by third-party APIs
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies and mindset
• Familiarity with Intercom, Productboard, Canva, and/or Notion
Benefits
• Weekly Pay
• Career Development
• Employer Paid Training
• Wellness Facility Onsite
• Stocked Kitchenettes
• Community Involvement
• "Happy Hour"
• Flexible Paid Time Off
• Additional Paid Days Off
