AvidXchange Summer Internship Program Overview

Throughout the program, Interns develop and grow through a series of experiences such as:

  • Building business acumen to understand who we are, what we do, and the history of AvidXchange
  • Establishing relationships with mentors and Intern Alumni, meeting with senior leaders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to complete capstone project.
  • Volunteer opportunities to give back to the communities where live and work
  • Workshops and learning experiences to learn more about our commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone belongs.

Location Preference:Charlotte, NC

Work-from-home Flexibility:3 days a week in Charlotte, NC office.

Internship Term/Duration:Our summer internship program is a 9-week experience that will provide potential AvidXers with practical work experience and the chance to contribute to business results. The summer internship program begins with orientation onJune 6thand concludeson August 4th. All internships are paid opportunities.

Job Overview:

As an Intern in the Product Marketing team, you will conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences and analyze competitor offerings.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, and Customer Support, to ensure alignment on product messaging and positioning
  • Assist in the planning and execution of product launches, including coordinating product demos and customer events
  • Monitor and report on product performance metrics, including user engagement, customer feedback, and sales data
  • Contribute to the development of customer personas and messaging frameworks to guide marketing initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies, and provide recommendations on product enhancements and new market opportunities

Education Requirements

  • Expected graduation date ofMay 2024
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required, major or cumulative
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
