What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking a proven B2B Product Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing team. The ideal candidate enjoys the technical side of product marketing in electric power or alternative energy markets, possesses excellent written communication and prioritization skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, early market environment.

You will be the product marketing owner and subject matter expert for the commercial AC charging portfolio of networked charging solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for positioning, messaging, personas, technical content, and integrated go-to-market strategies for global Commercial AC products.

If you are an enthusiastic communicator who can bring best practice product marketing techniques to ChargePoint, this is the role for you. You must be able to generate high-impact ideas, clearly prioritize workloads, manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion. To succeed in this role, you must develop strong working relationships and work cross-functionally with the Product, Sales, Sales Enablement, and Marketing organizations.

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
  • Own product positioning and messaging and create a compelling narrative and value proposition that differentiates our commercial AC charging technology solutions in the market.
  • Define and manage the development of high-impact content and marketing tools such as personas, brochures, one-pagers, pitch decks, explainer videos, and web content.
  • Communicate the value propositions of the solution to sales and channel partners. Ensure sales have the necessary information to drive growth by developing sales tools, including FAQs, sales presentations, product demos, and competitive battlecards.
  • Define the GTM strategy and execute integrated marketing plans and strategies for product global new product launches. Ensure new product launches and initiatives are aligned to drive shared outcomes.
  • Be the subject matter expert on your buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria.
 Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree. Technical acumen or degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of product marketing experience with B2B technology products and solutions.
  • Ability to develop and execute a solid product marketing plan.
  • Technically adept in translating complex embedded software and hardware products into simple solutions for buyers.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of buyer's journey stages, persona development, and audience segmentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to define GTM strategy and product launch execution.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize to achieve optimal results.
  • Passion for emerging markets, the EV space, and associated trends.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, customers, prospects, and partners.
