Reporting to the Director of Communications & Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Specialist will be a key member of the product marketing team, driving the messaging and positioning of our product portfolio, leveraging differentiators and refining value propositions, supporting the development of useful sales collateral, ideating tactics for demand generation and client retention campaigns, and supporting go-to-market efforts for our healthcare IT solutions.
The successful candidate will support the delivery of messaging and campaign tactics for a defined portion of Greenway Health's products and services portfolio. The Product Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing and project managing our integrated go-to-market campaign tactics and suggesting compelling product messaging refinements to support ever-improving campaign metrics. This role is also responsible for the delivery of client-facing and internal assets to support sales enablement and drive velocity through the pipeline.
The ideal candidate will approach this role as their first step within the Greenway Product Marketing team, aiming to build their segment and solution knowledge over time, and grow established responsibilities with cross-functional product and sales subject matter experts to enable them to increase their strategic ownership of message maps and campaign strategies over time.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Implements marketing plans as provided by Product Marketing leadership to support business initiatives and meet Marketing origination goals
- Suggest compelling messaging and value propositions, collaborate with senior members of the product marketing team and product marketing leadership to finalize the alignment of messaging into a campaign framework
- Identify differentiators, with assistance, and collaborate with senior members of the product marketing team to align those differentiators to core messaging
- Collaborate on target audience recommendations, and align recommendations with Product Marketing leadership
- Draft campaign assets, campaign messaging, client-facing promotional assets, and sales enablement assets, to be approved by Product Marketing leadership
- Suggest refinements in messaging and ongoing content development as needed based on analysis of campaign metrics
- Ongoing adherence to tactical execution deadlines, using Wrike project management tool to track the completion of individual tasks
- As needed, project manage content creation for client consumption (event presentation, webinar presentation) and industry speakerships
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams (e.g. sales, pre-sales, customer success, clinical consultants, product, legal, compliance, etc) to ensure ongoing learning and alignment on brand strategy, product roadmap direction and Greenway vision
Skills & Requirements
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing; or equivalent experience
- Two (2)+ years of marketing experience in corporate environment
- Two (2)+ years Healthcare IT experience preferred
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Baseline understanding of healthcare IT industry and Greenway product portfolio, including market and competitive intelligence
- Baseline understanding of demand generation and integrated marketing principles, B2B healthcare business strategies
- Content creation experience (Email, Digital Advertising Copy, Blogs, Case Studies)
- Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns
- Experience developing and managing messaging related to the entire product life cycle
- Ability to translate product and feature capabilities into easily understood value-driven messages that can be used for multiple purposes
- Ability to communicate product information concisely and understandably that can be used by sales personnel to enhance their ability to sell
- Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) required
- Familiarity with Wrike and Cvent preferred, but not required
- High emotional intelligence
- Proven ability to collaborate with, and support multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Confidence and poise when presenting to and interacting with peers and senior leadership
- Results-oriented and data-driven personality
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- While at work, this position is primarily a sedentary job and requires that the associate can work in an environment where they will consistently be seated for the majority of the workday
- This position requires the ability to observe a computer screen for long periods of time to observe their own and others' work, as well as incoming and outgoing communications via the computer and/ or mobile devices
- The role necessitates the ability to listen and speak clearly to internal and external customers
- Less than 25% travel for in-person corporate meetings and client events
