Employees who are able to perform the essential functions of their jobs away from an Elevations location may do so with the expectation that they are onsite at least fifty percent of the time over a two-week pay period.
Summary/Objective:
The Product Specialist supports the development and maintenance of products and related services for Elevations Credit Union members. Working closely with cross functional partners, the product specialist gathers business requirements, competitive and market analysis, and member feedback to align banking and lending products and services with business goals and membership needs. This position is responsible for planning and execution of products and oversees the entire product lifecycle from concept to retirement in support of the defined product roadmap.
Essential Functions include:
· Defines product requirements, initiates and prioritizes projects within engineering, assists in determining the best technical implementation, track product development, and develop product launch plans · Partners with the analytics team to understand key usage patterns and data · Responsible for comprehensive definition and cadence of product release for a product line to achieve the strategic plan, by identifying and delivering requirements that increase market share. |
· Measures and analyzes product and feature performance for opportunities to innovate, simplify and create intuitive user interfaces that improve customer experience and increase adoption · Works jointly with our business partners to identify opportunities to grow lines of business · Aligns targeted personas and member benefits with product offerings and requirements to ensure adherence to Elevations’ strategic goals. · Clearly articulates the value proposition and competitive positioning of the product. Works closely with marketing and other departments to create and execute go-to-market plans for product launch. |
· Creates product line documentation, including: business cases, roadmaps, and product launch plans. |
· Monitors the marketplace and oversees competitive market analysis in terms of persona segmentation and products and services offered. Appropriately positions products against competitors and other internal products. |
· Develops and maintains area’s procedures, identifying gaps and enhancements. Ensures all applicable forms and disclosures are relevant and abide by law and regulations. |

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- 3+ years experience in product management
- Experience with consumer/member, product and/or market analysis methodologies
- Demonstrated attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong project management skills, including time management and organization skills
- Ability to create cross-functional cooperation and consensus to execute plans
- Demonstrated ability to understand and track trends in the marketplace
Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Marketing
- Experience in a Credit Union or other Financial Services Organization
Work Environment:
Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects

Compensation information:
The person hired into this position will likely earn between $73,162.88 and $100,599.00, plus annual bonus.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
