The Bradenton facility manufactures acoustical ceiling grid systems by utilizing roll formers, flying shears, conveyor systems, punches/dies, and mechanical presses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Follow standardized work processes and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Effectively carry out assigned tasks throughout the shift.
• Inspect products to ensure quality and customer specifications throughout the shift.
  Safely operate a press and roll former.
• Notify Lead if individual notices any issues with equipment on the production line.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace at end of shift.
• Correctly report production in the SAP system.
• Keep track of scrap and downtime during the shift and submit to Shift Supervisor at end of each shift.
• Assembles & staple packing boxes.
• During plant downtime this position assists with plant housekeeping, maintenance, and warehouse duties.
• Performs other duties requested by a shift supervisor and Site Management.

2nd shift: 2:30pm-12:30am - Monday-Thursday, OT as needed Friday-Sunday

Compensation: $16.00-$17.00

Additional Bonus: Immediately eligible to participate in additional quarterly bonus program

Required Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
• Ability to read policies & procedure manuals.
• Ability to safely operate/use hand and power tools.
• Ability to use measuring instruments (calipers, thickness gauge, dial indicator, etc.)
• Attention to detail
• Multi-task & be flexible with assignments.
• Must have general computer skills abilities in order to complete and/or update reports, orders, etc.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Products a plus (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
• Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts and work weekends when necessary.

• Bradenton, FL 34203: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
• Assembly: 2 years (Preferred)
