Join us as a Leadership Development Program Manager
Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is one of the oldest and largest privately held financial institutions. Our Talent and Development (T&D) team works globally to enable the business to achieve its strategic goals by developing, embedding, and enhancing learning and practices that support employee performance, growth, and engagement.
The T&D team is seeking a Leadership Development Program Manager to be responsible for the oversight, creation, and execution of leadership programming, in conjunction with the VP, Leadership Development. This role is an integral part of the Leadership Development team and will be charged with the ownership of select leadership programs.
This individual will be expected to design, implement, manage, facilitate, evaluate, and identify continuous improvements in the Firm's leadership development programs. The Leadership Development Program Manager will need to stay aligned with the firm's goals in collaboration with our Line of Business (LOB) and HR stakeholders and the global T&D team.
This Leadership Development Program Manager requires that one be passionate about leadership development, experienced in leadership models & philosophies, collaborative, and results oriented.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- The design, creation and delivery of high impact leadership programming that elevates management and leadership capabilities and aligns with BBH's Talent Strategies needed to achieve BBH's strategic goals.
- The identification of clear learning objectives aligned with current and future developmental needs of the learner population that are understood/valued by all stakeholders.
- Development of effective learning solutions to address learning gaps.
- Serving as the owner/main point of contact for select leadership programs to targeted BBH cohorts.
- Program management oversight including working with a Program Coordinator to ensure on time execution that is high quality and within budget (i.e., stakeholder communications, program logistics, materials, assessment processes and deadlines, vendor management etc.)
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to leverage technology and/or vendor offerings to enhance programs.
- Tracking and analyzing leadership development metrics to measure the impact of programs in the context of business goals; leveraging metrics to continuously make evidence-based enhancements that strengthen learning outcomes.
- Staying abreast of current research and trends in the learning/leadership development space and driving a learning culture through innovative solutions.
- Building positive, collaborative, and action-oriented partnerships with stakeholders to ensure optimal effectiveness and efficiency of programming, as well as contributing to consistent stakeholder, and participant experiences.
- Design and implement effective components that are executed before, during and after live learning events, to optimize the impact of holistic leadership development experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, Master's and specialized HR certifications desirable.
- 10+ years of experience in HR with proven experience in program management, design and delivery of global leadership development programs.
- A passion for facilitating in person.
- Ability to draw upon a wide variety of techniques to ensure engagement, knowledge transfer, and skill development take place in a measurable way.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of executive development; executive coaching certification and assessment experience preferred.
- A proven track record of successfully working as a business partner with a senior management team, building trusting and effective relationships with leaders across the enterprise preferred.
- Demonstrated experience successfully managing change and developing leaders required.
- Intellectual curiosity and inclusive leadership with a passion for continuous learning and development.
- Expected travel 10-25%
