As a Program Analyst, you will design, develop, test, prototype, implement, modify and evaluate automated systems. You will also code and test application changes and recommend automated and manual solutions to enhance system functionality.

"Hybrid work in Ohio" - This position is a work from home opportunity as long as the candidate resides in northeast Ohio and is willing to travel on-site on an as needed basis.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develops program specifications according to the systems design.
  • Facilitates system and program turnover to the production environment.
  • Identifies and resolves program problems or issues.
  • Interacts with end users to assist in problem definition and system design.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Certifications:

  • For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date.

Complexity of Work:

  • Requires troubleshooting, analysis, systems design aptitude and programming skills.
  • Requires use of communication skills and teamwork.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum two years experience in programming.
  • Associate's Degree with four years programming experience or six years data programming experience may offset degree requirement.
  • Experience using more than one high-level programming language preferred.

Preferred Experience:

  • Front-end work: Javascript/Typescript, React/Vue/Angular or similar
  • SQL Databases: SQL Server, Postgresql, MySQL, and/or Oracle.
  • Backend: C# or Java preferred, Python or NodeJS ok
  • Used modern development/debugging tools, e.g., Developer tools in browser, VS debugger
  • Include a GitHub or portfolio site on their application, with source code available (hobby projects are fine)
  • Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Crystal reports, Tableau, etc.)
  • Have built larger applications, i.e., larger than a typical CS lab exercise

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
