Project Engineer

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Project Engineer to join our team specializing in Manufacturing in Maxton, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Driving Project Success : By leading multiple projects from start to finish, you'll ensure each project meets its objectives and delivers value to stakeholders.
• Strategic Planning : Facilitating planning sessions and working with stakeholders to define project scope and goals will set a clear direction and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Performance Tracking : Designing project plans, developing timelines, and tracking milestones will help maintain focus and measure progress against performance goals.
• Issue Resolution : Identifying and resolving project issues promptly will keep projects on track and minimize disruptions.
• Effective Communication : Regularly updating the project team and stakeholders on status will ensure transparency and foster collaboration.
• Risk Management : Using quality tools to identify and mitigate risks will protect project outcomes and enhance overall project quality.
• Knowledge Sharing : Documenting and sharing learnings will promote continuous improvement and leverage collective team experience for future projects.
• Team Development : Guiding and coaching team members, providing feedback, and assigning resources effectively will build a strong, capable team and ensure project success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Issue and Risk Management : Identify, assess, and prioritize project issues and risks, using recommended tools and disciplines to minimize negative impacts and maximize positive outcomes.
• Resource Management : Develop and manage resource plans, including expenses and headcount, to ensure projects have the necessary resources to succeed.
• Schedule Management : Use schedule management tools and processes to drive project completion within agreed timelines, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
• Scope Management : Manage project deliverables to ensure all required work is completed and unnecessary work is avoided, maintaining focus on project objectives.
• Valuing Differences : Recognize and leverage the value of diverse perspectives and cultures, fostering an inclusive environment that enhances team performance and project outcomes.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• College, university, or equivalent degree required.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

• Intermediate level of relevant work experience, including team leadership experience, required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities to include:

• Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments and goals.
• Managing Capital Plans and CIP tracking
• PCN generation
• Project Leadership driving initiatives from start to finish.
