Fixed Term role - December 2025

Position Summary:

As a Project Engineer within the R&D Engineering team, you perform design updates to our product from the Trauma & Extremities division.

What you will do:

The European Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR) requires a Data Matrix Code (DMC) on our medical products. As part of a global project team, you perform design updates in CAD (Creo / SolidWorks) to make our devices compatible with the latest regulations which ensures that we can continue to sell the products to our customers.

The job includes:

  • Implementation of drawing and model changes in CAD
  • Decision on the implementation of the proposed change in coordination with manufacturers (internal and sometimes external)
  • Decision and documentation of part marking exemptions
  • Application of different change management systems in our PLM systems
  • Communication across different functions, locations and cultures
  • Application of given procedures and instructions to provide a lean, robust and meaningful project documentation.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields
  • Experience in CAD applications (preferably Creo and/or SolidWorks)
  • Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Understanding of different materials and manufacturing technologies
  • High level of English (oral and written)
  • Ability to work in a global team across multiple time zones
