Job Description
AECOM Hunt is seeking a highly talented Project Manager to join our Hunt Construction group. This position will be supporting our construction projects in the Phoenix, Arizona area.
Job Summary:
Responsible for resource management and supervision of construction activities as they relate to contract administration and management of scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management.
Job duties include but aren't limited to: coordination and integration of multidiscipline project functions including but not limited to construction, project controls, quality and commercial administration in a manner to meet project operational and business objectives. Working with management team, establish a culture of safe work performance. Actively engaged in developing and managing client and subcontractor relations.
Plans, schedules, and coordinates projects to build, repair, alter or renovate building structure and install equipment, and supervise a multi-disciplined construction workforce performing work on multiple projects simultaneously.
The job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supports overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.
- May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, maintains close client interface, and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Position may have profit/loss responsibility for assigned construction project.
- May review and process project RFIs and Submittals.
- May interface with design team.
- May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software.
- May interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues.
- May assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting
- Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract.
- Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
- Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed

Qualifications
Minimum Requirement:
- BA/BS + 4 years of relevant construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience with change order management/Cost Control
- Familiarity with CMIC
- Knowledge of bid packaging and subcontractor bid leveling
- This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
- This position does offer relocation assistance.
