Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will obtain requirements, evaluate, and determine objectives, goals, and scope of multiple projects. You will also network within an organization to drive initiatives, strategies, issue resolutions, and configuration. You will create, monitor, and provide ongoing communication to appropriate stakeholders. In this role, you will support a team by growing their capabilities to organize, manage, and make decisions. You will report risk areas and partner with leadership on strategies to address concerns. Using your time management and great prioritization skills, you will also manage interdependencies or dependencies between projects or programs through collaboration, cross-functional project planning and comprehensive reporting strategies. Using your excellent communication skills, you will interact and engage with internal and external stakeholders daily. You will identify the appropriate resources for the clients, drive problem management, build trust with the clients while leading projects and presenting solutions to stakeholders. Lastly, you will develop detailed project plans, manage project process documentation, and facilitate project implementation while overcoming project barriers, as needed.
Working Environment

Hybrid or Remote

This position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. #LI-Hybrid #Remote

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications

• At least 6 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
  • At least 1 year project/program management work experience
  • At least 5 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
• Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
• Due to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) - Project Management Institute (PMI)

Expectations

• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
• Must be willing to travel up to 20% as needed
• Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
