Project Manager, Sales Enablement (Onsite - 5 days per week onsite in Irvine, CA)
Overview:
As a Weedmaps Project Manager, Sales Enablement, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful delivery of various technology projects within the cannabis sector. Your expertise in project management, combined with your understanding of the cannabis industry, will be crucial in driving innovation and efficiency in our organization.
The impact you’ll make:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure successful project execution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, track key metrics, and proactively address any issues or risks that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Identify and engage key stakeholders, including clients and internal teams, to establish clear communication channels and foster collaborative relationships.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively address stakeholder concerns, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts to maintain positive relationships and ensure project success.
- Cannabis Industry Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, regulations, and advancements within the cannabis technology industry.
- Apply your understanding of cannabis industry requirements and compliance standards to ensure project deliverables meet industry-specific needs.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to the team regarding industry best practices, emerging technologies, and potential business opportunities.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and inspire cross-functional project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, encouraging innovation, creativity, and continuous learning.
- Identify individual and team development needs, provide constructive feedback, and facilitate training opportunities to enhance the team's capabilities and professional growth.
What you've accomplished:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the cannabis technology or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- In-depth understanding of the cannabis industry, including its regulatory landscape, compliance requirements, and emerging technologies.
Bonus Points:
- Familiarity with sales metrics and dashboards;Â
- Experience with sales performance analysis, sales process optimization, and sales enablement
The base pay range for this position is $72,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
