Project Planning and Control Consultant

Job Purpose

Work in Delivery Quality Assurance Department to make sure that Total Soft quality standards and customer requirements are met, within the agreed time and budget - perform audit activities on software implementation & postimplementation projects and report directly to DQA Project Manager.

What you will do

• Follow the Delivery Quality Assurance workflow that consists in reviewing, auditing, improving processes and documents included in project delivery services.
• Assures that the project plan and deadlines are aligned with the contract.
• Meeting with clients – collect their history, expectations, feedback (Voice of the Customer).
• Assures that the level of customer satisfaction remains within the range of acceptable criteria.
• Review process and project teams’ deliverables (collectively and individually) and continuously communicate cross departmental.
• Oversees the implementation team to make sure Total Soft implementation methodology is followed.
• Providing document control assistance to the project team as required including training project members in the use of implementation and post implementation procedures and routines.
• Analyze and recommend process priorities and corrective measures to assure timely completion.
• Evaluate, monitor and report monthly the accuracy of updates on project schedule, timelines, and milestones throughout the entire project lifecycle – using internal Project and Portfolio Management tool.
• Assist and provide guidance to project teams in introducing and updating their projects in our internal Project and Portfolio Management tool.
• Hold responsibility and deliver DQA Reports in collaboration with project teams, and present results.
• Attend internal and external meetings (local and international);
• Attend local and steering committee meetings alongside or in the place of DQA Project Manager.
• Attend and deliver Activity After Review meetings alongside or in the place of DQA Project Manager.
• Attend ad-hoc internal meetings and workshops, including for lessons learned.

• Attend/Organize internal trainings for project teams in order to improve their project management skills.
• Continuously improves his/her industry knowledge, remaining connected with quality management best practices in delivering software implementation projects.

• Reports to Delivery Quality Assurance Project Manager.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 1-3 years experience in IT implementation projects and in process audit or in delivery services.
• Knowledge or Certifications in Quality Management related areas are nice to have – Lean, Six Sigma and other Quality Management certifications.
• Problem solving skills (Root-cause analysis, 5 whys, SIPOC, Fishbone etc.).
• Business process optimization skills.
• Quantitative analysis methods and Risk Management experience.
• Experience in one of the following industries is considered an advantage: Financial Services (leasing), Banking, IT, Retail & Distribution, Manufacturing, Pharma, Construction, Real Estate.
• Experience in software implementation projects (ERP, SAP, Charisma) – nice to have.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
• Knowledge of Project Management processes.
• Knowledge of Project Management tools (Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera, Planview PPM Pro).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (English is a must).
• Customer care skills, client oriented.
