PS Project Manager

As a Project Manager for Professional Services, you will drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth through technical engagement and enablement of our customers and partners. Your main objective will be to ensure successful project management of ABBYY IDP solutions from scoping to delivery. You will oversee comprehensive project management for ABBYY products in an agile international environment, coordinating project delivery and reporting to the Director of Professional Services. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation by planning and managing projects to ensure timely and within-budget completion. Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to establish domain expertise with ABBYY customers and partners at all levels, from executives to developers.

Key Job Responsibilities 

• Be a trusted technical advisor to customers.
• Work within the Professional Services team to define, plan, execute and close large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensuring project goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, on-budget, within scope and timelines.
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Identify, manage and communicate risks and issues and have a proactive mitigation plan.
• Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding project
issues and decisions on services.
• Producing accurate and timely reporting of project status throughout its life cycle.
• Track team progress against key initiatives and communicate status to leadership.
• Create project documentation that is complete and stored appropriately.
• Ensure correct and timely feedback is shared with project team members.
• Utilise industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement

Essential Skills

• Experience driving cross-functional initiatives according to plan and timelines
• Prioritize effectively and multitask efficiently
• Proven track record of successful collaboration with stakeholders from different business and technical verticals
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and documentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
• 2+ years of project management and related experience
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies and best practices
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
• Ability to travel as required
• Native or proficient level of English
• Native or proficient level of German

Preferred skills

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Scrum experience
• Experience in OCR, NLP and related technologies
• Experience in Process Mining and Task Mining
• Experience working across internal and external organizations, for complex mission-critical solutions
• Strong ability to articulate complex value propositions in a clear, concise, and compelling manner
• Prior knowledge and experience in ABBYY Products and technologies
• Creativity and willingness to learn new technologies
