 The VA Healthcare system in Boise, Idaho is seeking an experienced board-certified Psychiatrist. This is an amazing opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our veterans.

 

    •  Position Highlights: Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
    • Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to: Carry an outpatient caseload seen face to face or via telehealth; at times it may be necessary to provide care for patients at our community-based outpatient clinics, usually via telehealth.
    • Conduct chart reviews for professional practice evaluation and other requests as assigned.
    • Obtain and maintain an academic appointment at the University of Washington School of Medicine’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
    • Supervise senior resident caseloads and participate in residency program activities as requested by the residency training program. Commensurate reductions in clinical responsibilities will be provided; Supervise residents on call and round on our inpatient ward and consults on call weekends, frequency is approximately 1 in 10 or less.
    •  Minimum Qualifications: MD or DO Degree
    • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible
