Psychologist – Substance Use Disorder, Inpatient

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides psychological assessments and individual and/or group psychotherapy.
• Provides comprehensive, evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions including: individual, group, and family psychotherapy, caregiver stress support, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and interpersonal therapy within the residential and outpatient settings.
• Provides education to patients, family members and significant others.
• Provides on call responsibilities covering the inpatient services, emergency room, and consultation service.
• Develops, implements, and documents the psychotherapeutic treatment plan for patients, including prompt completion of clinical reminders.
• Assists in the development of treatment protocols for Veterans with substance use disorders.

Requirements:

• United States Citizenship
• Current, full and unrestricted psychology license from any US state or District of Columbia
• Have successfully completed an APA or CPA-accredited professional psychology internship training program
• Demonstrated multidisciplinary experience with inpatient and/or outpatient care services in acute psychological care settings

• Compensation: Competitive base salary range: $87,788-$162,664. Sign-on bonus and/or relocation assistance may be authorized, and access to the student loan reimbursement program if meet eligibility requirements.
