Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Psychologist to join our outpatient behavioral health clinic located in Boise, Idaho.
Become part of a physician led 500+ provider multi-specialty group with a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care. Saint Alphonsus is a principal provider of evidence-based, interdisciplinary behavioral health services within the region. Our outpatient practice offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and interpersonal problems for adolescents and adults. Psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions are provided via a multidisciplinary treatment team.
The Behavioral Health outpatient clinic is seeking a Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) who is dedicated to the treatment of mental illness and is compassionate towards those struggling with these diagnoses and concerns. The Psychologist will provide evidence-based, goal-oriented, brief individual, group, family, and educational services including assessment and counseling, as well as neurological and personality testing, if interested.
The practice currently includes one Physician, a Psychologist, with recruitment ongoing. This practice is part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Primary Care and Specialty Clinics.
The schedule for this full-time opportunity is Monday - Friday with a minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week. There are no call responsibilities.
Requirements for this opportunity include:
- Current, unrestricted Psychology license in Idaho
- Psychiatry or mental health training and certification required.
- A strong medical background and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.
