Job Overview:Â Â
In the role of Public Relations and Social Media Manager II, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing compelling PR initiatives, securing noteworthy media coverage, and managing our social media presence-all in support of enhancing AvidXchange’s visibility and brand reputation. We're seeking a candidate with a passion for crafting compelling narratives, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of effectively managing public relations and social media campaigns.Â
Key Responsibilities:Â
- Create and execute public relations strategies, including developing press releases, articles, and keynote presentations, that increase visibility and position AvidXchange as a thought leader in our industry. Â
- Manage AvidXchange's social media landscape, curating content, fostering engagement, and employing strategic measurement practices to uphold and enhance AvidXchange’s positive online reputation.Â
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of messaging and maximization of PR opportunities.Â
- Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and interview requests.Â
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends, competitor positioning and regulatory changes that impact our business. Â
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and its impact to the business.Â
- Lead management of our external PR agency partner.Â
- Coordinate crisis communication efforts if needed and manage issues as they arise, ensuring timely and effective responses. Â
- Provide support at key internal and external events to elevate AvidXchange’s reputation in high touch environments.Â
Qualifications:Â
- A bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, or a related field.Â
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to generate positive brand exposure.Â
- Knowledge of current industry trends and media landscape.Â
- Proficient in writing, editing, and proofreading, with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.Â
