Python Software Engineer

• Backend: Python, C#, C++, Rust, Bash, Web
• Frameworks and libraries: Python FastAPI, Python Tornado, .Net Core, React.js, React Native, Kotlin, Swift
• Database Technologies: MariaDB, Galera Cluster, Elasticsearch Cluster, MongoDB, Replica Set Cluster, CockroachDB Cluster, Redis Cluster, InfluxDB
• Message Queue technologies: RabbitMQ, ZeroMQ
• Web Server technologies: Nginx, IIS
• Observability and Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Thanos, Prometheus, Grafana

Responsibilities

• Create, refine, and support Python applications
• Develop clean, modular, testable, and efficient code
• Engage with multidisciplinary teams to conceptualize, design, and launch new features
• Handle debugging, troubleshooting, modifications, and unit testing of applications
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies to guarantee that applications stay relevant and competitive

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in Python application development
• Expertise in the design and development of frameworks utilizing Python
• Background in leveraging common stacks, agile practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in databases like Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB
• Knowledge of web servers such as Apache and container technologies including Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Competency in DevOps platforms such as GitLab
• Strong ability to solve problems and debug complex technical issues
• Familiarity with the FX industry would be a plus

Nice to have

• Qualifications in Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform
• Skills in Kubernetes, Jenkins
• Understanding of Linux, PagerDuty, Terraform, Uptrends
