QA Engineer (VoIP/SIP )

Product: We are looking for a VoIP/ SIP QA Engineer to join the Net2Phone unite Platform team, which develops the Core part (calls platform) of the product and User Experience parts of applications for corporate call centers/enterprise calling plans.

As a part of the Platform team, you will closely work with VoIP/SIP and RTC services, calling parts and real calls itself. One of the team's main responsibilities is to maintain and improve calling tests to reflect real customer usage of the product.

Net2phone product is a large complex system with a lot of components inside and with complex logic of interaction between them. The QA team also needs to take care of all integrations within Net2Phone family products.

As Senior AQA Engineer in our Team you will:

• Testing calls on various devices and softphones with different protocolsReviewing validity of SIP methods in use, voip quality.
• Test call stack architecture of the product based on open source projects like Asterisk/Kamailio and RTP engine.
• Build a designated solutions for better calling tests even special services.
• Deeply understand logic and architecture of the product to improve current tests work and stability.
• Take part in the building quality gates for the team releases and provide automation as a tool.
• Actively participate in scrum team activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ensure that all releases meet the expected quality standards.
• Document identified defects in Jira, manage the life-cycle of tickets, and ensure timely resolution.
• Work closely with the development team and the product owner to understand requirements and provide feedback.

We would like to see:

• VOIP/SIP/RTC proven testing experience - 3+ years.
• Experience in testing APIs, and automating tests.
• Understanding of QA methodologies, best practices, and tools.
• Strong knowledge of how APIs work and how to effectively work with CRUD tests and databases.
• English – A2 is sufficient.

Would be plus if you have:

• Proven experience as an Automation QA Engineer in Java.
• Postman, Jenkins pipelines, Github CDK.
