As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will serve as the guardian of our agency's reputation for flawless delivery of the world's largest Digital programs for the world's greatest brands. RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as an internal quality control check for program(s), for accuracy and ensuring it meets client requirements and standard methodologies. This includes quality control checks of creative, beta and production sites.
Digging deeper on the details:
- Will be the day-to-day point of contact that oversees all quality testing needs across internal and external groups. This looks like:
- Agile Testing
- Internal E2E
- Integration Testing
- Analytics Testing
- The QA manager will lead and work with both internal QA engineers and external QA vendors for testing scope, test stories, test execution and defect remediation.
- Will manage and funnel all internal and 3rd party QA feedback
- Provide summaries to both internal and client team and communicate progress of testing and any critical findings
- Review tickets for duplicates and take part in review and prioritization of tickets with the digital delivery and client services team
- Conduct smoke testing with project teams
- Ensure sufficient resources (and 3rd party vendors), including hardware, software, and personnel, are assigned to support the project teams.
- Identifies and analyzes risks and their potential business impact to determine proper prioritization of testing activities
- Overseeing the execution of all program testing- functional, regression, load, performance, penetration and UAT.
- Intervene and escalate issues when they pose a threat to project quality
- Ensure test documentation & results are maintained for the projects over which they have QA management responsibility
- Share testing results to stakeholders to enable them to make decisions regarding client reviews as well as production launches.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- 3+ years' experience in QA vendor management and managing a QA team
- Awareness of WCAG guidelines according to legal/client requirements (e.g., A, AA, AAA, 2.0 / 2.1)
- Competence with multiple web browsers and operating systems, and an understanding of their differences and issues
- Experience in the preparation and/or execution of formal test cases, scripts and scenarios
- Experience using and administering testing tools (e.g., Browser Stack, Selenium, etc.)
- Ability to examine application logs and familiarity with YAML, JSON and XML
- Working knowledge of SQL and ability to validate underlying data and to create test data set
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver against aggressive schedule pressures
- Highly collaborative, able to lockstep with cross functional teams to deliver project deliverables
- Comfortable working with UX/UI, technology, design, operations, security and legal resources
- Experience selecting and managing 3rd party vendors, and independent contractors
- Experience with project management software such as Confluence, Jira, Smartsheet, Teams, Slack, Office, etc.
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology and approach
- Understanding of digital execution process and lifecycle (i.e., mobile applications (Android and iOS), large-scale promotions/sweepstakes, and social media executions is preferrable)
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and relationships with a variety of personality types
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Enjoys problem identification and solving
