Job Details
Associate inspects finished product for consistency within established product quality specifications. Associate conducts tests to reveal non-visual product flaws. Associate accepts product within specification and rejects and isolates all out-of-specification product. Associate performs Production Line audits and reviews with line leadership.
- Maintain attendance to company policyÂ
- Conduct daily reports using various softwares
- Other Audits: Shipping bay, home depot, critical careÂ
- Field site visitsÂ
- Participate in quality & process improvement kaizen eventsÂ
- Use of measuring devicesÂ
- Other Quality Control projectsÂ
- Perform housekeeping duties as needed to maintain cleanliness in office area.
- Maintain and implement NDF and CTQ signs and information.
- Complete all quality assurance documentation accurately and enter all quality data into computer database
- Reject all out of specification product; place questionable product on “hold” for disposition by management personnel; recommend 100% audit of line run or grinding of product, if indicated
- Conduct internal audits and present appropriate action plan
- Complete accurately and legibly all quality assurance related paperwork
Qualifications
- Data EntryÂ
- Bilingual English-Spanish a plusÂ
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction or installing windows, doors, cabinets prefered but not requiered
- Able to work overtime on Day or Nights and weekends as neededÂ
- Valid Driver’s License (minimum)Â
- Read technical specificationsÂ
- Ability to read scheduleÂ
- Follow SOP & Work InstructionsÂ
- Able to use basic power tools such as drill, screw guns.Â
- Work is primarily on the production floor, Test Lab and office in Hot/Cold environments
- Outdoor environment in hot/cold weather when conducting field site visitsÂ
- 2-3 years related experience in an assembly, manufacturing or constructionÂ
- Minimum High School Diploma required, associates degree/trade school preferred
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, Power PointÂ
