Position Summary

Delva Tool & Machine (DTM), a CMT company, is seeking a Contract Quality Engineer for our Cinnaminson, NJ location. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for carrying out quality assessments and measurements on products within specified dimensions.

*This is a contract position for approximately a 90-day period of time. The position will work a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The pay range for this position is between $57.70 - $72.12/hr. depending on experience*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer requirements, work instructions, inspection instructions, routers, CMM programs, and related components.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
• Compile detailed reports on audit findings and recommended actions.
• Highlight deviations and areas for improvement.
• Create action plans to address issues and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with teams to execute improvement strategies.
• Monitor progress of action plans for timely issue resolution.
• Track ongoing compliance and improvements.
• Work with quality assurance teams to align findings with quality objectives.
• Support quality control process improvements.
• Review and verify accuracy of related documents.
• Ensure compliance and currency of documentation.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and standardization.
• Propose best practices to enhance productivity and quality.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• 7+ years of prior experience working as a Quality Engineer, or something similar, within an aerospace/defense machine shop.
• Ability to create "bubble" drawings.
• Ability to write, inspect, and audit work instructions.
• Ability to write, inspect, and audit inspection plans and inspection requirements.
• Ability to write, inspect, and audit CMM programs.
• Proven experience using PCMM and/or CMM technology.
• Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Job Boss ERP system.
