R&D Senior Engineer

We are looking for a R&D Senior Engineer for product care of HV Circuit breakers within Technology Center HV Breakers. In this role you will be an important team player collaborating with the R&D projects and maintaining/supporting the technology of our existing products which are HV Live Tank Breakers. We are developing the technologies of the future for Live Tank Breakers, as part of this endeavor, we put strong focus on contributing to get closer towards carbon neutrality of the society by means of a greener electric power system.

You will be part of a diverse team of engineers and experts. We are the main source of technical know-how for our Live Tank Breakers. In our work we support, on a global level (some travel), customers, LTB manufacturing sites, R&D projects, quality functions etc. The tasks for the group ranges from specific material properties to how our breaker works in complex HV network applications. We are responsible for the Master data of our products: 3D models, drawings, technical documentation, and product manuals.

Your responsibilities

• Learn how our products are built and how they work at the customer
• Communicate with stakeholders on a global scale
• Handle drawings and write technical documents, in many different forms and shapes

Your background

• Engineer
• Interest in technology and how things work
• Experience of HV products and Creo/Windchill is a merit.
