Position: Receiving Associate 
Shift: 1st shift
Location: Fort Worth, TX
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc
  • Receives incoming product against appropriate purchase orders, completing paperwork as required
  • You will be required to unload trucks and palletize products 
  • Organizes incoming inventory deliveries for proper storage and placement 
  • Efficiently stocks shelves with newly packed items from the packaging department 
  • Consolidates primary and overstock locations to effectively utilize the cubic space of the distribution center 
  • Evaluate and determines status of product returns from customers
  • Responsible for placing incoming items into inventory; Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Applies feedback to improve performance; Monitors own work to ensure quality 
  • Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position; Accepts responsibility for own actions; Follows through on commitments 
  • Meets productivity standards; Completes work in a timely manner; Stives to increase productivity 
  • Occasionally picks customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is packed and meets standards 
  • Helps maintain area cleanliness and organization 
  • Assists in maintaining the security and safety of the distribution center 
  • May conduct physical inventories and cycle counts as required 
  • Perform all other tasks as required when assigned 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy 
  • Ability to work independently and stay on task to complete given assignments 
  • 2+ years forklift experience (Rach Forklift/ Sit Down Forklift)
  • 2+ years of working in a Receiving Department and solid grasp on inventory management 
  • Must be able to life up to 50lbs. repeatedly, 60bs occasionally 
  • Must be able to work standing/walking for the majority of the work day 
  • Strong math skills and analytical skills 
  • Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions 
  • Willing to work overtime when necessary 
  • Must be able to visually distinguish detail, color, and other characteristics of material and objects 
  • Ability to perform basic functions on a computer 
  • Must be able to get along well with a variety of different people and work as part of a team

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to communicate professionally at various organizational levels 
  • Must be able to hear/understand/speak with team members at all levels within a diverse workforce 
  • Must be comfortable working with or around material handling equipment
