Position Summary:

This is a full-time salaried position: Monday – Friday, 1st shift.
The Regional Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient procurement of goods and services for our various Catalent sites. This includes developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships,
optimizing costs, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Our Somerset location is the corporate headquarters for Catalent Pharma Solutions. This location houses our state-of-the-art laboratory, clinical, commercial manufacturing plant for oral dose forms in addition to being the Center of Excellence for Highly Potent Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients.

The Role:

Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with Catalent's objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery of goods and services across multiple sites

Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships for various sites. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements while maintaining high supplier performance standards

Cost Optimization: Continuously assess cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement while maintaining product quality across all supported sites

Collaboration at sites: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams at different sites, including production, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth and efficient supply chain operations

Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and Catalent policies in all procurement activities across the multiple sites
-
Working Capital initiatives: Support strategies and activities related to improving working capital
-
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement performance and implement corrective actions as necessary for all sites
-
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, ensuring continuity of supply and minimizing disruptions across the various sites

15% travel expectations (domestic)

Other duties as assigned
The Candidate:
-
Bachelors Degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field, required
-
Minimum of seven years of experience in procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
-
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds
