What will you be doing?

The Regional Sales Manager leads and supports a team of sellers by performing supervisory tasks as delegated by the Director of Sales.

In addition, you will also be expected to:

  • Staff, train, and direct the regional Sales department
  • Provide leadership, management, and support for Velocity’s Sellers
  • Develop and ensure adequate performance of all sales activities and standards (e.g. outbound calls, quotations, CRM, etc.) in assigned markets
  • Lead the achievement of maximum revenue and margin growth
  • Establish plans and strategies to expand Velocity’s customer base
  • Establish and maintain strategies for cost avoidance and mitigation; NCM, Problem shelf products, RMA’s, etc.
Education, Experience and Knowledge

Required Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, in any field

Preferred Education

  • 4- year college degree

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the electronic components industry

  • Extensive experience in all aspects of Customer Relationship Management

Preferred Experience

  • 2+ years in sales management
