Regional Senior Manager, Sustainability

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to join our Sustainability team, someone deeply passionate about driving sustainability initiatives and experienced in leading impactful ESG strategies. As a Senior Manager at AirTrunk, you will be the primary lead for ESG efforts in Australia from Day 1, steering key projects and guiding our sustainability efforts with your expertise and vision.

Your Day to Day 

• ESG Intelligence – Lead the charge in staying ahead of ESG industry trends, risks and opportunities. Leverage your deep insights to shape and drive strategic planning and influence key programs within Australia. 

• Sustainability Initiatives – Implement and oversee regional sustainability programs. From high-level strategy to execution, you’ll ensure these initiatives align with our vision and deliver meaningful results; 

• ESG Culture – Be a transformative leader in sustaining and advancing our strong ESG culture in Australia. Lead the planning and coordination of key internal sustainability activities, including workshops, Sustainability Committee meetings, and working groups, ensuring engagement and commitment across all levels; 

• ESG Partnerships - Strategically identify, cultivate, and manage partnerships with local organizations and initiatives that align with our sustainability goals. Your leadership will help forge alliances that propel our ESG ambitions forward. 

• Continuous Improvement - Lead the continuous enhancement of our sustainability efforts in Australia. Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging the team to bring forward new ideas and solutions that keep us at the forefront of ESG excellence. 

Requirements 

• Proven ESG Leadership: You bring a minimum of 7 years of experience in ESG and sustainability, with a track record of driving impactful initiatives and leading teams with passion and purpose. 
• Strategic Visionary: You have a deep understanding of ESG principles and are eager to lead transformative projects that align with AirTrunk’s strategic goals. You thrive on tackling complex challenges and delivering innovative solutions. 
• Educational Excellence: You hold a degree in sustainability, environmental studies, environmental management/engineering, or a related field. Your academic background complements your practical experience, equipping you to lead at the highest level. 
• Exceptional Communicator: You excel at simplifying complex concepts, with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders at all levels through clear and impactful verbal and written communication. 
• Agile and Resilient: You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and change, adept at managing multiple priorities, and capable of steering your team through dynamic environments with confidence and poise.
