Salary range: $65,000 - $101,300 (Depends on experience)

Position Summary
This role serves as a resource for the Customer Service team and acts as their administrative leader. Alongside the Service Director, this role will develop the Lightning warranty process, provide guidance on responding to field issues, manage the service inventory support the day-to-day services that address customer needs as well as complete other duties as required, including participating in HR processes.
The successful candidate will have a background in field service and possess a clear understanding of the unique position this department holds within Lightning eMotors. You should have a passion for customer service as well as a desire to manage daily administrative tasks as a leader.
Responsibilities
- Manage and prioritize vehicle, charger case, and technical documentation workloads
- Provide guidance to Customer Service Coordinators for scheduling response to field issues as well as logistics
- Design strategies to ensure that day-to-day services are controlled, and that clients' needs have been addressed successfully
- Develop and manage the Lightning service warranty process as well as validate and approve warranty claims
- Manage service parts inventory
- Manage Field Service Technician tooling, PPE orders, and inventory
- Approve Sales and Purchase orders
- Review and approve timecards for Service team
- Actively participate in the hiring and onboarding process, including scheduling and carrying out training for new employees; develop training as required
- Other duties as assigned

- Problem solving: Use analytical, reasoning, and critical thinking skills to solve problems and troubleshoot issues in lab and field settings.
What we require:
- Associate’s Degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering Technology, Business, Logistics, or related field of study; or equivalent work experience in a directly related position
- 5+ years of experience in Field Service with experience as a Field Service Technician or Field Service Engineer highly desired
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisor/management role
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
What we prefer:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, Automotive Technology, Engineering, or other directly related field; or equivalent work experience in a directly related role
- 10+ years of experience in Field Service, with experience as a Field Service Tech or Field Service Engineer
- 10+ years of experience in a supervisor/management role
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles
- Demonstrated interest in administrative duties associated with leadership
