Role Overview
Sodexo is seeking a Fulltime Registered Dietitian to join our team at Miami Jewish Health, located in Miami, FL. This dietitian will work with two other fulltime dietitians reporting to our System Clinical Nutrition Manager. Miami Jewish Health has an 80-year reputation for providing high-touch personalized care, customized daily activities, soothing routines, and comforting support.
What You'll Do
- Provide nutritional care to the long-term care residents, acute care patients and outpatient referrals as needed;
- Demonstrate skills in establishing and maintaining standards of care;
- Be willing to work occasional weekends, primarily providing nutritional care to the acute care patients;
- Participate in test trays, food service audits, and patient satisfaction; and/or
- Interact with medical staff and nursing on a regular basis.

What You Bring
- be Registered Dietitian with FL licensure;
- have experience working in Senior Living- preferred;
- provide nutritional care to residents in LTC and rehab;
- meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;
- be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences; and
- represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
